What's new

Changes to the API, the SDK and the dashboard. API changes are additive: existing fields and endpoints keep working. Anything that would break an integration is announced here first, with a date.

October 2026: Message signing · Wallet kit 0.6.0

• Message signing: POST /v1/messages for EIP-191, EIP-712, TRON and Solana messages, approved by your team's passkeys and checked in the enclave (team signing workspaces). New message.* webhooks and Security → Signing requests in the dashboard.
• Wallet kit 0.6.0: valtu.messages.create / get / list.

October 2026: Peerlyx is now Valtu · Wallet kit 0.5.0

• New name: Peerlyx is now Valtu. Your workspaces, wallets, keys and addresses are unchanged.
• Headers: requests are signed with X-Valtu-Timestamp and X-Valtu-Nonce; webhooks carry X-Valtu-Signature and X-Valtu-Signature-Ed25519. The X-Peerlyx-* names keep working until further notice, and webhooks send both.
• Wallet kit 0.5.0: the package is @valtu/wallet-kit with Valtu / ValtuError; the old names are deprecated aliases.

October 2026: Contract calls · Wallet kit 0.4.0

• Contract calls: POST /v1/contract-calls to allowlisted contracts and functions on EVM networks, through your policies and approvals. New policy fields withdrawal.is_contract_call and call.*.
• Dashboard: Security → Contracts (add with approval, call with a form), and decoded calls in transfer details.
• Wallet kit 0.4.0: valtu.contracts.list / get / call.

October 2026: Checkouts · Wallet kit 0.3.0

• Checkouts (payment links): POST /v1/checkouts with a hosted payment page, coin choice, live status, and checkout.* webhooks. Also in the dashboard under Money → Payment links.
• Wallet kit 0.3.0: valtu.checkouts.create / get / list / iterate / cancel, and typed checkout.* events.

October 2026: API 1.1 · Wallet kit 0.2.0

API

• Balances: GET /v1/wallets/:id/balances (live, with on-hold and available) and GET /v1/balances (workspace totals).
• Fee and policy preview: POST /v1/transfers/preview.
• Batch payouts: POST /v1/transfers/batch, up to 100 per request.
• Deposit lookup: POST /v1/deposits/lookup finds a deposit by transaction hash and re-reads its block if it was missed; GET /v1/deposits?txHash=.
• Networks: GET /v1/networks with status, typical fee and confirmation time.
• Webhooks: GET /v1/webhooks, GET /v1/webhooks/public-key, POST /v1/webhooks/:id/test.
• OpenAPI 3.1 spec at /docs/openapi.json; docs for AI tools at /docs/llms.txt.

Wallet kit 0.2.0

Methods for everything above: wallets.balances(), balances(), networks(), transfers.preview(), transfers.createBatch(), deposits.findByTxHash(), deposits.lookup(), webhooks.list(), webhooks.publicKey(), webhooks.test().

Dashboard

• Policy tester: run a sample transfer through a policy before saving it, and see which rules matched and the values they saw.
• Activity export includes the network fee, fee coin and fee in USD.
